Allows access to all
Age limits are put in place
Privacy settings can be edited
Up to 18, you are a child; those 18+ are adults and therefore should be responsible
Keep in touch and share ideas and beliefs


Problems with social networking:

Means more criminals can converse
Allows a right to freedom to be abused
Threatens law abiding citizens
Interrogate privacy via hacking
Time consuming for youth who should be working
Stereotypes groups of people, by the actions of an individual
Topics such as guns, gang culture is glamorised within youth culture
